Today I tested all the students are their reading abilities! WOW! What great gains we have made!! We went to Jump Rope for Heart and had a blast!! Don't forget to bring in your collection on Friday for the "I Spy" poetry book.
I'm not sure exactly what kind of collection they're supposed to bring in on Friday... Madeleine has mentioned it several times, but I'm still not sure I know what she's talking about!
It could be anything! We are creating our own "I Spy" book. Kids in the past have brought in Braatz dolls, Care Bears, DVDs, red, white and blue theme, beach theme, or collage of all different things from their room. I will take a picture of it and then they have to come up with an I Spy poem for their page. Does that help?
